U.S MOVING FURTHER EAST IN EUROPE:WRONG SIGNAL FOR INTERNATIONAL PEACE

after the collapse of the soviet union there was a general agreement between us president ronald reagan n russian premiere mikhail gorbachev that america will not go further east of germany but in light of a weakening russia america did n't keep its promise.after the abrogation of the warsaw pact starategic alliance were made with different countries of eastern block such as poland,hungary,czech republic n georgia.permanent membership of nato were given to countries such as poland and czech republic where as georgia is being considered for a permanent membership.meanwhile a ressurecting russia was no longer in a position to retaliate.its reservation were unheard in the global geopolitical sphere.

recently as a part of its relentless look east[europe policy]the neo con bush administration decided to make missile defence shield in poland and a radar system in czech republic.under this plan america will establish 10 intercepter missile in the baltic coast of poland and a radar system in prague(czech rep),according to america this will give strategic advantage to america in shooting down misssiles from the rogue state of middle east such as iran n syria and north korea.the project is having tacit suppoirt from NATO.

GENUINE RUSSIAN CONCERN

THIS relentless american persuit has infuriated russia.The concern is quite natural since baltic region where america is planning to establish its missile defence shield is at a distance of just 115 miles from russia.america can easily use these sites to hit russian sites.to protect american concern russia was also in a mood to permit america in building joint deffence missile shield in its southern region but the offer was turned down.

things dont remain the same forever.Russian economy has ressurrected its self and so has it's defence sector and political influence in the global arena.russia is also establising a missile deffence shield,it has a planted short range iskander missiles in kaliningard....russian premiere mevdev has given a clear cut indiacation to its army officials to escalate there deffence resources.Reforms are taking place in different defence related dept.the signal from kremlin is pretty clear-russia is not going 2 give in so easily.

in the light of the post georgian crisis along with the latest american moves things are getting worser day by day in the eastern european region.at one end there is superpower america with its ever increasing apetite and greed and on the end there is ressurecting russia geraing up to get its lost glory back,but this entire scenario is sending wrong signals all around the globe.Under its retalitery move russia is also making military alignment with communist nations of south america [especially venezuala], countries in central asia ,iran etc.Though it will b too early to say that a newer version of cold war is in making but if given a free hand the present circumstances might pave a way for such a one.


NOW EVERY THING DEPENDS ON THE NEW RAY OF HOPE

between all such turmoils the newly elect president barack obama has to play a very important role.So far obama had been sceptical on this issue but such politicaly correct maneovre is nt sufficient.For the sake of global peace he has to take concrete steps,steps that will ensure demilitarization of the eastern european region.Russia has ensured that if america follows the path of demilitarization russia will respond in the same fashion there by ensuring peace in d region.

the american lame excuse of attacks from iran holds no ground since however strong iran might become it will never dare 2 hit american or other european sites.even if such threats have got some ground then why is america avoiding using russian soil.America can ally with a fiercly communist china,it can ally with autocratic sheikhs of middle east,a military regime in south east asia (now it is the matter of past since pakistan has a democratically elected government these days)then what is really wrong with a capatilist russia which is catching up very fast with rest of the civilized world in the domains of freedom,liberty, democracy and other aspects.
